Working in a color darkroom requires absolute darkness, meaning senses like touch and sound become more critical than vision for maneuvering through space. Exploring the idea of seeing as a multisensory experience, I made rubbings of the subtle topographies of the darkroom where I work, revealing reliefs reminiscent of lunar, otherworldly landscapes.
